everyday life. It can be brought on suddenly through an injury or another
chronic problem that was left untreated. Acute back pain is not something
that anyone can ignore and you will know when it hits. The best thing to do
for this type of pain is schedule a visit with your doctor for treatment.

possible. A lumbar role should be used when sitting to help maintain proper
posture and try to keep from slouching. It is a good idea to try to keep
from sitting as much as possible and is you do only for brief periods. When
you do have to sit use a firm ergonomic chair and avoid furniture that makes
it hard to maintain proper posture such as couches and soft chairs.
Driving or riding in a car is also not a good idea. If you do need to drive
slide your seat back so that your arms are as straight as possible when
holding the steering wheel. This has the tendency to keep your upper body in
a more upright and comfortable position. That lumbar role you are using
around the house can also be used while driving or riding in a car as well.
It is also important not to lift anything while you are having acute back
pain as this can make the injury even worse. Also try and sleep on a firm
bed as a soft or saggy bed does not provide the proper support for the back
and you can also wear a supportive role around the waist while you sleep. As

lean back if you have to do so, leaning forward can cause your pain to
