If Your Back Hurts, You Gotta' Find Yourself a Good Back Pain Mattress!
There is no doubt that anyone with back pain will
benefit from sleeping on a good back pain mattress. The question is,
what is a good mattress and how much will it cost. Well, we all know we
get what we pay for. Therefore if you are going to buy a good quality
mattress, you cannot expect to pay $200, it will cost you more than
that. This article will give you the names of good quality mattresses,
the features and a cost range.
If you have back pain, you should not go too firm or too plush. You want
a mattress that will conform to your body and support your natural
curves, but it should not be so plush that there is not good support. I
have a cushion firm model and that has worked well for me. Personally, I
just cannot sleep on a firm mattress because it hurts!
My personal favorite and the one I sleep on every single night is by a
company called Stearns and Foster. This is a company will a long history
of making quality mattresses. They have mattresses that come in firm,
cushion firm, plush and ultra plush. The price range for a Stearns and
Foster mattress is $1200 to $5000 for a queen size set.
Sealy Mattress Company is the maker of Posturepedic and they have lines
call Spring Free, True Form and BackSaver. Spring Free has a natural
climate control so you will be warmer in the winter and cooler in the
summer. True Form is made with memory foam so it will conform to your
body. BackSaver is for those of us on a budget. You can get a Sealy
mattress for anywhere from $350 to $2500.
The last mattress manufacturer I’d like to tell you about is Simmons.
This company touts a mattress that will keep you from noticing if your
partner tosses and turns all night. Hmmm, that sounds interesting. They
also carry a line of specially made back pain mattress models made
especially for those of us with back pain. You can get a Simmons
mattress for $399 to $2500. |
