Beating Back Pain with a Home Grown Back Pain Remedy
If you are one of the millions of people who suffer
from either acute or chronic back pain everyday then there is little
doubt that finding a back pain remedy is high on your list of things to
do. That pain is a constant reminder that finding a permanent solution
for the problem is highly desirable. If you have recurring back pain
then this article will hopefully give you some ideas as to how to find
relief permanently. If you have already visited a doctor for your
condition then these ideas may help, if you haven't seen a doctor it is
always a good idea to do so to make sure that the pain is not related to
some underlying serious condition.
Another thing to remember is that everyone is different so what may work
for one person may not necessarily work for you because back pain can be
caused by any number of problems which require different approaches to
remedy.
Probably the most important aspect of any back pain remedy is the
stabilization of the back itself. The midsection of your body is the
stabilizing force between the upper and lower extremities and therefore
it is under constant strain and stress. Two of the best things you can
do is sleep on a good supportive mattress and get more daily exercise.
There are many things you can do to help relieve back pain that are
simple adjustments to things you do everyday. Here are a few things that
can help that you should take into consideration to help your aching
back.
1. Activity Levels – How active are you? Do you get enough exercise?
This is important because strengthening your back and abdominal muscles
will help stabilize the back.
2. Lifting – Be sure to use proper lifting techniques and lift with your
legs, not your back.
3. Posture – Good posture when sitting and standing takes much strain
off the back.
4. Womens Purse's – If you carry a big heavy purse over your shoulder it
can cause back pain because the weight is not evenly distributed. Try a
fanny pack which places the weight on your hips and legs instead of the
back.
5. Get a New Mattress – Sleeping on an old saggy mattress is one of the
worst things you can do for a sore back. If you can't afford a new
mattress just yet put a piece of plywood between the mattress and the
box spring.
6. Drink Water – Water is the life blood of the human body. It keeps us
well lubricated and helps wash away toxins that interfere with the
body's daily functions.
7. Stress – Too much stress causes muscles to tighten and the blood
pressure to go up, both of which can have detrimental effects.
There are seven things that if properly addressed can help reduce and
relieve the back pain that you feel. In fact if done right some of these
things are more then a remedy for back pain, they can actually help cure
your back so you don't have to suffer again.
